About ASSC
The Annual Senior Science Conference (ASSC) is a prestigious academic event hosted by the University of Zakho (UoZ) and organized by the College of Science. It serves as an essential platform for final-year undergraduate students to transition from learners to active contributors in the scientific community.
This conference is specifically designed for 4th-year bachelor's students and 6th-year medical students to present their graduation projects through poster and oral presentations. The primary aim of the ASSC is to highlight the graduation projects and research findings of senior students, bridging the gap between theoretical education and practical scientific inquiry. For many participants, this marks their first opportunity to present original data to a professional audience, equipping them for future postgraduate studies or careers in research and development.
